Matt
has a quick drop in his pocket and steps into his throws. When he gets to
the top of his delivery, he shows a good, quick release of the ball. Matt
only has average arm strength with the football in his hand.He
throws on the move nicely as he squares his shoulders and releases towards
his target. Matt is calm and the pocket and is a passer that is asked to
not mistakes. He is a tough player that will stand in the pocket and take a
hit. However, he needs to really improve his pocket presence. Matt lacks
the poise to keep with his progressions and will often force throws under
pressure. There are other times when he has time to throw, he will hold the
ball too long. Overall, Matt is an intriguing player that knows how to win
but isn’t the best Quarterback by any means. His tools are adequate but he
brings something to the table as a leader.
