Best about him: Matt is a tough player that throws the ball well on the move.

Biggest negative: He has average arm strength and really struggles versus heavy pressure. 

Athletic potential: He is an older prospect that still needs to develop.  He is a long time prospect that doesn’t appear to be any more than a backup.

POSITIVES: Tough, smart quarterback with solid athletic skills. Quickly sets in the pocket, sells the ball fakes and throws with a nice delivery. Elusive, gets outside the pocket making plays on the move or picks up yardage with his legs. Puts zip on intermediate passes, throws tight spirals and has good arm strength. Sells the ball fakes, stands strong in the pocket and patient.

NEGATIVES: Marginal accuracy and rarely places the pass where receivers can run to it. Stares down primary targets, makes questionable decisions when pressured and late on timing throws.
